Farewell 2015 and so EXCITED for 2016

Well what a year it’s been. And, how blooming fast did it go. It seems like it was only last month I was planning out 2015.

This week instead of blogging I’ve got myself down in front of the camera to Vlog, have a little chat with ya, let you know what’s been happening in my world, and the fact that I still have stuff to work on too.

If you’re anything like me, you tend to do many things, all at the same time. This can leave us very little time to reflect and really think about what the heck we are doing and how we are doing it. This year my own coach called me out on this, getting me to take a good long look at my life.

As a family we had a tough end to 2014 and 2015 had some really big challenging times too. Which has lead me to do one of my most skilled things (said in jest! But not really, I’m really skilled at it! Eeek!) – over functioning. When I’m in ‘over-function’ mode, I just don’t see it. There’s not much room for other people to function either. Meaning, I think I’m killing it, being all things to all people, but the people closest to me can be left feeling a little lost a sea, a little on the side lines.  There is a reason why we do this.

Getting called on my stuff lead me to do what I actually do absolute BEST, working in my zone of genius, doing some of my best work, rocking it with clients, supporting them to totally ROCK their worlds.

Check out this weeks VLOG

Todays video will support you to focus like a laser beam, you can then pause and reflect on 2015 and think about how you want to truly do/plan 2016.

Have the most tremendous 2016, doing it exactly the way you want to.

  1. Love the video post, Jo – this really resonated for me as it’s exactly where I am – the over-functioning, over-achieving person who’s not taking care of myself. Looking forward to you supporting me ROCK my 2016 and finally get my wellness sorted! Love Sarah x

    • This has resonated with so many very competent people 😉 Glad you liked it Sarah and that it helped. Bring on 2016!
